Meet the Presidency
Elise is a senior in the editing and publishing program who is also double minoring in creative writing and Spanish. Though most of her work has been in academic publishing, her bread and butter is good stories. She hopes to help grow the world’s library of good books both as an author and as a developmental and substantive fiction editor. Outside of books and movies, Elise loves pickleball, racquetball, music, history, and game nights with friends.
Alayna is delighted to meet you! As a senior in the editing and publishing major, she is a major supporter of the Oxford comma and the Chicago Manual of Style. But her true passion lies in writing anything and everything. She had dipped her toes into novels, scripts, personal essays, and poetry. When she's not writing, she's recording silly videos for social media or theorizing about Taylor Swift's next move.
Lia is an editing and publishing major with a minor in creative writing. Her passions lie in captivating digital design and fresh non-fiction (whether creative essays or a good novel). Lia is pursuing a career in magazine and digital publishing. She loves her home state of Wisconsin, em dashes, and Twisted Cow on University. She is so excited to be a part of the STET team!
Liz Walker is a senior in the editing and publishing program with minors in art and TESOL. She loves studying language and grammar and applying that knowledge to help others communicate more effectively. Liz loves art, classical music, history, good stories, and travel.
